Fitting Instructions
Delivery Instructions
Step 1 – Measure and Cut
Measure the required length carefully and trim both the top profile and base section to size if necessary. Always double-check your measurements before cutting. For installations around door frames, the top profile may need to be notched to achieve a neat and professional finish.
Step 2 – Fix the Base Section
Secure the base section to the substrate between the two floor coverings (or between the floor and wall, where applicable). This can be achieved using suitable screws, adhesive, or a combination of both, depending on the installation requirements.
Step 3 – Install the Top Profile
Allow the base section time to settle and the adhesive to bond, typically around one hour. Once secure, position the top profile over the base and gently tap it into place using a rubber mallet. For additional fixing strength, a small amount of adhesive can be applied inside the channel before fitting the top profile.
