Rewmar Rapid Primer is a fast drying, one part polyurethane based primer. Applied to subfloor when necessary prior to the use of Rewmar MS Polymer or Rewmar MS650 (sausages).

It designed for use over all sand / cement screeds that are not under hydrostatic pressure and contain up to a maximum of 95% relative humidity.

This primer can be used as an adherence primer and if using in this way only one coat over porous or non porous & smooth surfaces is necessary. The primer can also be used as a moisture barrier where you will have to apply two or three coats in cross layers.

Fast Drying

Solvent and water free

Single component polyurethane primer

Suitable for use as a DPM when 3 coats are applied to substrate

Suitable for use on absorbent and non-absorbent substrates

Consolidates substrates

1 Coat 40m² (250g per m²)
2 Coats 24m² (350g per m²)
3 Coats 17m² (450g per m²)

For more information please refer to the Rewmar Rapid-Primer Datasheet

The subfloor must be sound, free of splits, dust, grease or other contaminants that could affect the adhesion of the primer and floor. For floors that are non-porous or smooth it is necessary to abrade the surface prior to application of Rewmar RP.

1 Coat: Rewmar Primer can be used as a fast drying adherence primer on porous / non-porous or smooth substrates (ceramic tiles, adherent and cohesive paints, traces of old glues, etc.).

2 -3 Coats: Applied in cross layers, Rewmar RP can be used as a moisture barrier for waterproofing of absorbent surfaces up to 95%RH.
